Biomedical Structures (BMS; Warwick, RI) has named Dean Tulumaris the new president and CEO of the company. Tulumaris has a background in outsourcing device development and manufacturing, strategic planning, and mergers and acquisitions. He held a position at Memry Corp., where he headed an effort to expand production capabilities and almost doubled company revenue in just three years. During the past year, BMS has been gearing up for aggressive growth. The company achieved record growth in 2010 following the completion of private equity financing, cleanroom expansion, and improvements in its manufacturing infrastructure. Earlier this year, the company acquired Concordia Medical and reported its highest quarterly growth ever. --Maria Fontanazza
